TORCH / SPARKS info

TORCH - High School and Early College
2018 JUNE MUSICAL - Singin' in the Rain!

The TORCH Drama Club is a high school theatre organization that performs one production a year for high school students aged 15 to early college students aged 19. The students are also well known for their assistance in staging two other shows a year, one for children ages 8-11 (The EMBERS players) and one for children aged 11-14 (The SPARKS players).
The TORCH players not only act, but work backstage, work as makeup and hair artists, organize and direct, and create sets, props, and sound and lighting designs.
Monthly workshops are a staple of the drama club, with each workshop being used to explore different facets of theatre, all building up to the annual musical in the summer.
For more information on the TORCH Drama Club, contact the Coordinator of Youth Ministries, Ceci Galvin, at youthdirector@sje1.org, to be put in touch with the producer.
